Getting there
Zirndorf lies outside the city, so plan the journey rather than assuming a quick hop. According to the park, bus line 151 runs to the FunPark Monday to Saturday; check the VGN timetable for your connection. Use the address above for a route planner or satnav.
Who it suits, and who it does not
It fits families with children of primary-school age who like to run, climb and play outdoors. It is less obvious for toddlers under 4 and for teenagers, because the listing says the park is designed for 4 to 10. For a rainy day, the listing mentions an indoor playground, but most attractions are outdoors and, outside the main season, closed, so check the weather and the season first. If your family is mainly interested in history, Nuremberg’s underground tours are the better day, though several are listed as unsuitable for young children.
